The Executive Chairman of Abeokuta North Local Government, Hon. (Dr.) Lanre Oyegbola-Sodipo, today inaugurated the OGOO Multipurpose Venture Board at the Council Secretariat as part of activities marking the one-year anniversary of the present administration.
The newly inaugurated board members are:
- Mr. Bayewunmi Moruf Abolore – Gbagura Community
- Mr. Ashimiu Kehinde – Oke Ogun Community
- Alhaja Fatimoh A. Fadipe – Owu Community
- Mr. Adeboun Musiliu Ekundayo – Oke Ona Community
- Mr. Adeosun Azeez – General Manager, OGOO Multipurpose Venture
While addressing the board, the Chairman charged them to be good ambassadors of Abeokuta North Local Government and to uphold the vision of the OGOO brand for economic empowerment and community development.
He further revealed that preparations are at an advanced stage for the official launch of OGOO Transportation, which will soon be unveiled to further expand the economic impact of the initiative.
The Chairman also reiterated that, by structure, the Local Government Chairman serves as the Board Chairman, while the Vice Chairman acts as the Vice Chairman of the Board, and will represent the Chairman whenever necessary.

The inauguration forms part of the ongoing one-year anniversary celebration of the Lanre Oyegbola-Sodipo–led administration.
