The Management showered him with birthday wishes to appreciate his administration’s unwavering commitment to development and improved service delivery to the communities in the Local Government Area. The APC Party Chairman of the Local Government, Alhaja Faidat Sarumi Akintunde, thanked the career officers for their unflinching support to the Oyegbola-Sodipo-led administration and advised them to continue on the same trajectory, setting an example for other Local Governments in Ogun State.
The Head of the Local Government Administration, Mrs. Kikilomo Munirat Ajayi, emphasized that the Executive Chairman is a great leader who deserves appreciation. She stated that his emergence as the elected Chairman has brought much energy and joy to the Local Government Area, and his push is to achieve greater heights.
Dr. Oyegbola-Sodipo thanked the Lord for His infinite mercy upon him and passionately explained that it is the grace of God that has brought him to this point, despite being born with a sickle cell condition. He expressed gratitude for his wholeness in life and appreciated the political functionaries, management, staff, and all career officers in the Local Government for the surprise birthday celebration.
He also charged both the political functionaries and career officers to work diligently for the wellness of the Local Government and thanked them for their synergy and support. Dr. Oyegbola-Sodipo added that the commissioning of projects on September 2, 2025, is scheduled to highlight major projects in basic facilities.
He therefore urged the residents of the Local Government Area to stand by the Local Government in its efforts to achieve basic amenities across the 16 Wards.
