The Chairman of Abeokuta North Local Government, Honourable Dr. Lanre Oyegbola-Sodipo, has reiterated his call on all members of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) in Abeokuta North Local Government to actively and fully participate in the ongoing electronic party registration exercise.

Demonstrating leadership by example, the Chairman on [today’s date] personally completed his APC e-registration at Ikereku Ward 01, Abeokuta North Local Government. He described his participation as a clear statement of commitment to party discipline, unity, and the strengthening of the APC at the grassroots.

Hon. Dr. Oyegbola-Sodipo emphasized that the e-registration exercise is a critical step towards building a credible, data-driven, and inclusive party structure. According to him, a properly documented membership base will enhance internal democracy, improve grassroots mobilization, and position the APC for sustained electoral success at all levels.

While addressing party stakeholders, the Chairman commended the visionary, people-oriented, and progressive leadership of His Excellency, Prince Dapo Abiodun, CON, Governor of Ogun State, whose administration continues to deliver purposeful governance, infrastructural development, and inclusive policies across the state. He noted that the progressive philosophy of the APC under Governor Abiodun’s leadership remains the driving force behind peace, growth, and development in Ogun State.

The Chairman further stressed that the success of the e-registration exercise is essential to sustaining the progressive movement championed by the APC, urging all party members to see the exercise as both a responsibility and an opportunity to strengthen the party from the grassroots.

To ensure maximum participation, Hon. Dr. Oyegbola-Sodipo has directed all political appointees—Supervisors, Special Advisers, Senior Special Assistants, Special Assistants, and Political Assistants—across all wards in Abeokuta North Local Government to take full ownership of the process in their respective wards. He charged them to mobilize party members, sensitise residents, and work closely with Ward E-Registration Agents to guarantee seamless and successful registration.

The Chairman also advised all ward leaders, party faithful, and intending members across the local government to come out in large numbers and complete their e-registration without delay, noting that active participation is key to building a stronger, united, and more responsive APC.

Hon. Dr. Oyegbola-Sodipo reaffirmed his unwavering loyalty to the APC and his commitment to advancing the progressive ideals of the party, calling on all stakeholders to join hands in strengthening the APC for a more united, inclusive, and prosperous Abeokuta North Local Government and Ogun State at large.
