
Hon. Lanre Oyegbola Sodipo, the Chairman of Abeokuta North Local Government extends warm greetings and best wishes to the Muslim community as they celebrate Eid-el-Adha.
In his message through his Deputy Chief of Staff, Hon. Sodipo emphasized the significance of the festival which symbolizes sacrifice, faith, and the importance of community and family values. He noted that Eid-el-Adha serves as a reminder of the virtues of love, compassion, and generosity towards one another.
“This celebration provides us with an opportunity to reflect on the values of kindness and to come together as a community. Let us remember those in need and extend our hands to them, sharing the blessings we have received,” said Hon. Sodipo.
He also urged residents of Abeokuta North Local Government to embrace the spirit of unity and peace, emphasizing the need for harmony among all citizens, irrespective of their religious affiliations.
As the local government continues to promote community development, Hon. Sodipo reassured the people of his commitment to fostering an environment where everyone can thrive, emphasizing the importance of collaboration and mutual support.
