Yesterday, the Chairman of Abeokuta North Local Government, Dr Lanre Oyegbola paid a visit to Lafenwa Market in preparation for the upcoming commissioning of the newly constructed shopping complex. This landmark project is set to enhance trade, improve market conditions, and boost the local economy.
During the visit, the Chairman engaged with market leaders, traders and the police team at the Lafenwa divisional police station. He frowned at the indiscriminate parking of commercial tricycles and vehicles on the main road and charged the enforcement agency to sanitize the whole area.
He also assured traders of his government’s commitments to creating a conducive business environment.
