The Chairman Abeokuta North Local Government, Dr. Lanre Oyegbola Sodipo has enjoined Christians to imbibe the sacrificial life of Jesus Christ.
He urged the good people of Abeokuta North Local Government and Nigerians in respectful of religious affiliation to love one another irrespective of tribe, religion, and socioeconomic status.
While congratulating Christians on the successful completion of the Lent season, the Chairman said the Easter celebration should herald a new season of sacrifice, love, and righteousness.
Dr. Lanre Oyegbola Sodipo in his congratulatory message issued through his Head of Media & Deputy Chief of Staff Sen. Oluwakayode Ajibola, noted that though the government has the responsibility to ensure the safety and welfare of citizens, the people must exemplify Christ and his teachings on obedience to authorities and being one’s brother’s keeper.
The Chairman called for religious tolerance and harmony among resident of Abeokuta North Local Government while the Prince Dapo Abiodun administration delivered on its Renewed Hope Agenda of the President Bola Ahmed Tinubu agenda.
Dr. Lanre Oyegbola wishes Christians a pleasant Easter celebration and admonished them to imbibe renewal of love, happiness, and wonderful life, adding that the spirit of Easter is all about hope, love and joyful living, may you have a blessed Easter celebration…He said.
