The Chairman, Abeokuta North Local Government, Honourable Dr. Lanre Oyegbola Sodipo, warmly felicitates with His Excellency, Prince Dr. Dapo Abiodun, CON, the Executive Governor of Ogun State, and the good people of the Gateway State on the momentous celebration of Ogun State at 50.
Ogun State was created on 3rd February, 1976, and over the past 50 years, the state has recorded remarkable achievements in governance, education, industry, infrastructure, and human capital development, earning its pride of place as the Gateway State.
The Chairman commends the visionary leadership of His Excellency, Prince Dr. Dapo Abiodun, CON, for sustaining the legacy of excellence and driving inclusive development across the state.
Hon. Dr. Lanre Oyegbola Sodipo also acknowledges the invaluable contributions of past leaders, founding fathers, and patriotic citizens whose sacrifices and dedication laid the foundation for the progress Ogun State enjoys today.
He reiterates the commitment of Abeokuta North Local Government to supporting the policies and programmes of the Ogun State Government, particularly at the grassroots level, in line with the administration’s development agenda.
As we celebrate Ogun @ 50, the Chairman prays for continued peace, unity, and sustainable development in Ogun State.
