OLOWU-STOOL-AYORINDE-PAYS-HOMAGE-TO-THE-NEW-OBA-ELECT-IN-IPEBI

The Executive Chairman of Abeokuta North Local Government of Ogun State, Prince Adebayo Ayorinde with his management team recently paid an unscheduled homage to His Royal Majesty, Oba Professor Saka Adelola Matemilola, Otileta VII, on the Ascension to the throne of his forefathers as the 14th Olowu of Owu Kingdom in Ipebi, Owu, Abeokuta, Ogun State.

The Council Boss while addressing the Olowu – in- council and other dignitaries at the palace, appreciated all the kingmakers for their choice, the sons and daughters of the Owu Kingdom for their unflinching support and rallying around the Kabiyesi even while, in Ipebi. He then promised the Monarch that his administration would do everything humanly possible towards giving him and his reign all necessary support while in office. Prince
Ayorinde further stressed by appealing to the monarch that he should use his wealth of experience to make life more meaningful for the sons and daughters of Owu Kingdom.

The Monarch who spoke through Chief Ishola Akinshipo, the Akogun of Owu Kingdom acknowledged the roles played by the Council Chairman and other management teams before, during, and after the electioneering process of the Oba. He later appreciated them and sought the continued support and cooperation of the administration for the new Oba for the good of everyone.

Other dignitaries on the Executive Chairman’s entourage include; the Vice Chairman, Hon. Ayoola Oluajo, Leader of the Legislative Council, Hon. Sanni Sikiru, the Secretary to the Local Government, Mr. Kabiru Odusiji, all members of the Legislative Arm, APC Party Chairman, Abeokuta North Local Government, Alhaja Faidat Sarumi – Akintunde, Ag. Head of Local Government Administration, Alhaja Shekoni Nurat, the Head of the General Services and Administration Department, Mr. Abiodun Edun, Head of the Information, Education and Sports Department, Mrs. Olalekan Olasunkanmi, among many others.
