Chairman, Abeokuta North Local Government Akomoje, Dr. ‘Lanre Oyegbola-Sodipo has displayed intense emotion at Lisabi Festival Grand Finale with cultural heritage on Saturday 5th of April, 2025 congratulated Alake and Paramount Ruler of Egbaland, Oba (Dr.) Adedotun Aremu Gbadebo Okukenu IV and the indigenes of Egbaland.
Dr. Oyegbola-Sodipo, the Council Chairman Abeokuta ANLG stated that the 38th Lisabi Day celebration in Egbaland is aimed to remember the Legend warrior “Lisabi Agbogbo Akala” who liberated Egba people from slavery which signals unity amongst Egbas within and diaspora.
Dr. Oyegbola-Sodipo, however, called on all indigenes of Egbaland to embrace unity wherever they are and to ensure to display cultural heritage of the Egbas.
Thereafter, plead with the indigenes of Egbas in the diaspora to hesitate not to come Home.
“Come home and display that dexterity you have gannered, let your Home feel your impact”, Dr. Oyegbola-Sodipo advised.
