Abeokuta North Chairman Empowers Over 200 Youths with Life-Changing Skills, commit millions to setting up paint making company, adire factory.

In a remarkable move to foster self-reliance and tackle youth unemployment, the Chairman of Abeokuta North Local Government, Hon. Dr. Lanre Oyegbola-Sodipo, has empowered over 200 young residents through an intensive three-day Skill Acquisition Programme.

The training, which successfully concluded today, featured practical, hands-on sessions in key vocational areas such as Paint Production and Application, Graphic Design and Adire and Kampala Fabric Making.

While addressing the participants, Hon. Dr. Oyegbola-Sodipo urged the youths to seize the opportunity as a springboard to build sustainable careers and businesses. He emphasized that the knowledge gained is not just for survival but for transforming their lives and uplifting the community.
