The Executive Chairman of Abeokuta North Local Government, Dr. ‘Lanre Oyegbola-Sodipo, has expressed appreciation for the efforts of the Permanent Secretary of the Bureau of Local Government Pensions, Engr. Olufisan Osiyale, in ensuring the successful implementation of the Contributory Pension Scheme (CPS) in the State.

Dr. Oyegbola-Sodipo made this remark during a courtesy visit by Engr. Osiyale to his office on Tuesday 29th July, 2025. They discussed the ongoing data update exercise for Local Government Staff and Pensioners. The Chairman commended the Permanent Secretary for his dedication and leadership, noting that the visit to the Local Government Secretariat was a morale booster to the Staff and Retirees involved in the exercise.

The Executive Chairman reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to continued collaboration with the Bureau of Local Government Pensions in improving the welfare of Local Government Staff and Pensioners.
