The Chairman of Abeokuta North Local Government, Dr. Lanre Oyegbola-Sodipo, has extended his heartfelt congratulations to members of staff of the council who distinguished themselves and brought pride to the local government at the just concluded Ogun State Local Government Award Ceremony.
Abeokuta North Local Government recorded outstanding success, winning three awards in four categories, a testament to the commitment, excellence, and teamwork that define the council’s workforce.
The Head of Local Government Administration (HOLGA), Hajia Munirat Kikelomo Ajayi, was honoured with the prestigious Best Administrator Award, in recognition of her outstanding leadership and dedication to effective service delivery.
Also, the Internal Auditor, Alhaja Zainab Faleye, emerged as the Overall Best Internal Auditor of the Year, while Mr. Mathew Ilori was celebrated as the Overall Best Grassroots Mobilizer of the Year.
In his congratulatory message, Dr. Oyegbola-Sodipo commended the awardees for their exemplary performance, describing their achievements as a reflection of Abeokuta North’s culture of diligence, innovation, and service excellence.
These awards are not just personal victories, but collective achievements that showcase the strength, discipline, and dedication of our entire workforce. I am immensely proud of the team and I encourage others to continue to strive for excellence in their various departments,” the Chairman stated.
He further reiterated his administration’s commitment to creating an enabling environment where hard work, integrity, and professionalism are recognized and rewarded.
Abeokuta North Local Government will continue to lead by example in good governance, accountability, and people-centered administration,” he added.
Dr. Oyegbola-Sodipo congratulated the award winners once again and charged them to sustain the momentum while serving as worthy ambassadors of the council.
