Friday April, 11th 2025, Chairman Abeokuta North Local Government Dr. Lanre Oyegbola Sodipo pay a visit to HRM Oba Prof Saka Adelola Matemilola Fnse for the growth and development of Abeokuta North Local Government.
The purpose of this visitation was to inform, get Kabiyesi informed about the ongoing projects that his administration had been doing to aim at transforming Abeokuta North into a mecca of sort.
Dr. Lanre Oyegbola reiterated his plan for Agriculture that would soon commence at Oke Ogun as a proposed farming settlement for the farmer’s and would be a source of means of reducing the influx of unemployment in Abeokuta North Local Government.
He thanked the Kabiyesi for sending a representative to the opening ceremony of Abiodun Bamidele Modern market, Lafenwa. However, health is wealth, Chairman reiterated his continuous programs on health for the ageing since he resumed office and promised to continue the same gesture.
Meanwhile, passion for improving the lives of the good people of Abeokuta North, and of course, Ogun State HRM Oba Prof. Saka Adelola Matemilola desiring in great delight to receive Dr. Lanre Oyegbola Sodipo.
HRM Oba Prof Saka praised the council Chairman for his laudable achievements of his 100 days in office and adding his kindness and love for people is irrevocable.
Chairman, spoke on the football completion coming up to reunite and foster unity among our youths in the Local Government tagged Oke Ona , Owu, Gbagura, Oke Ogun Supper Cup (OOGO) and soliciting Kabiyesi and his cabinet appearance for the Flagging off OOGO.
Kabiyesi, appreciate Dr. Lanre Sodipo and his entourage for deeming it fit to pay homage and shower royal blessing to the council chairman and the courtesy visit had attendance of Head of Media and Deputy Chief of Staff Oluwakayode Ajibola,Hon Lukmon Adesina Balogun Special Adviser to the Chairman on Youth and sports and
comrade Bashir Vandan Special Assistant on political matters.
