For us in Abeokuta North Local Government, we were able to secure a solid leg in the Gateway Games as Oba Odeleye Park at Ori Omi in Oke-Sokori shall be the Festival Fun Park.
It was a moment of pride to witness that Abeokuta North will take center stage in the nation’s most anticipated sporting events.
The event is scheduled to take place from May 16 to 31, and Ogun state will be open to welcome 15,000 athletes and sports lovers from across Nigeria.
The unveiling of the mascot and logo was not just symbolic—it marked a renewed commitment to excellence, unity, and youth development through sports. The theme song, energetic and inspiring, perfectly captured the spirit of Ogun2024 and set the tone for what promises to be an unforgettable festival.
