As part of activities marking his one-year anniversary in office, the Executive Chairman of Abeokuta North Local Government, Hon. (Dr.) Lanre Oyegbola-Sodipo, joined the Muslim faithful to observe the Juma’at Service at the Gbagura Central Mosque, Abeokuta.
The special prayer session was dedicated to thanking Almighty Allah for the successes recorded in the past year and seeking continued guidance, wisdom, and strength for the administration.
Speaking after the service, Dr. Oyegbola-Sodipo expressed gratitude for the support of the people of Abeokuta North and affirmed his commitment to sustaining impactful governance, inclusive development, and peaceful coexistence across all communities in the Local Government.
He appreciated the Chief Imam Prof Balogun and the entire OGOO Muslim community for their warm reception and continuous prayers for the progress of Abeokuta North.
The Juma’at service is one of the series of events lined up to commemorate the Chairman’s one-year anniversary in office.
