The newly elected Chairperson of Nigeria Labour Congress, Abeokuta North Local Chapter, Comrade Adekunle Oreoluwa and her entourage has paid a courtesy visit to Enu-Gada Division police station and Lafenwa Division police station on the 21st of July 2023.
The familiarization visit was also scheduled to appreciate the security agencies who participated in the last
N.L.C Local Executive Council Election that took place on the 13th of July,2023 in the Council Secretariat, Akomoje Abeokuta.
In her goodwill message, Comrade Adekunle appreciated the D.P.O.Enu-Gada Division Police Station, CSP Ellah Jeffrey for the prompt response to call during the election despite their tight schedule.
Speaking further, the Chairperson, said she will be looking forward for a peaceful Coexistence relationship between the Police and Nigeria Labour Congress, Abeokuta North Local Chapter.
Responding, CSP Ellah Jeffrey said, the Nigeria Force were called to serve the general publics whenever they are called upon. He reiterated that he and his men will be glad to work and render their obligations at any given time.
On the other end,the NLC team proceeded to Lafenwa Division Police station whereby,the DPO CSP Kayode Shadrach was said to be on special duties while the NLC team were well attended to amicably.
In attendance were, Comrade Ismail Okelola (Secretary),representing Nigeria Union of Teacher’s, Comrade Omolekan Abiodun (Assistant Secretary) representing Nigeria Union of Railway.
Others were,Comrade Awoneye Olusola (Treasurer) representing Nigeria Union of Public Service Reportorial Secretarial Data Processors and Allied Workers (NUPSTRAW).and Comrade Fagbire Oluwarotimi (Auditor 1) also representing Nigeria Union of Journalist (NUJ).
